MAKE A DIFFERENCE…ONE GAME AT A TIME!

In 2024, our charity basketball tournament proudly partnered with the National Kidney Foundation, raising approximately $5,000 to support awareness, prevention, treatment, and research in the fight against kidney disease (see the amazing story below). Together, we made a real impact. Thank You to every player, sponsor, and supporter who helped make it possible. 

Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to bring the tournament back with a new partner: Camp Hope Pathways, part of the national Camp Hope America network and a program of the Palomar Foundation. Camp Hope Pathways provides children and teens impacted by domestic violence a safe and supportive environment where they can build hope, resilience, and brighter futures. By combining mentorship, year-round programming, and the healing power of camp, Camp Hope Pathways helps break cycles of trauma and empowers young people to thrive.

Our goal for 2026: double our impact by raising $7,500 to support Camp Hope Pathways and the life-changing work they do in our community.

A selfless act of friendship: How a lifelong bond and the kindness of a stranger saved a life and created an unbreakable connection.

Curtis Choe and Cory Slater, lifelong friends since seventh grade, shared a remarkable journey when Curtis needed a kidney transplant. Despite Cory not being a match, he selflessly donated his kidney to a stranger through the National Kidney Registry, allowing Curtis to receive a kidney from Kathi Anderson, an Iowa nurse. The two friends, now closer than ever, were surprised with a reunion with Anderson, forming a life-long bond between the three.
